With an extremely fast 18 Foot Skiff and two 49ers Sailing Syndicate Team Pandion is committed to win... Again!

Since 2000 Team Pandion is aiming at the international top. After six years of sailing big boats in IMS, IRC and MaxFun one design classes, Team Pandion is now back on track in small, but very, very fast racing machines.

History
Sailing Syndicate Team Pandion is founded by Bob Kool in the late 90’s. The syndicate started with big-boat racing. The top of big-boat racing was reached in 2003 by winning the North Sea Regatta and Yeoman Cup. In 2005 the big boats were sold after winning a very spectacular North Sea Race.

After two years of a sailing sabbatical the syndicate started again in 2007 with skiff sailing. Since this spectacular way of racing sailboats is believed to be the future of sailing the next boat had to be the olympic 49er.  At this moment the Syndicate is very much alive again and consists of three teams, an 18ft skiff and two 49ers.

By combining our forces we create more possibilities resulting in more professional campaigns.

    EK 49er Croatia Zadar, Croatia - Jason and Sam are now at sailing club Uskok. That’s where the European championship 49er will be held on 1 till 6 sep. The upcoming forecast predictions are medium winds for the first two day’s, followed by light winds after the first two days.

    Skiff Training Muiderzand - This weekend we had a weekend of training and sparring with the guys of Innosource. At saturday it was a moderate 10 to 14kn. breeze and a lot of sun. We've lost the vids made on saterday but sunday wil be online soon. We didn't managed it to get the content as good as last week, we've also sailed all day with some water on the cam, the back of the rack isn't that good for video.

    Zomer 2009 Medemblik- Jason en Sam hebben de afgelopen een hoop getrained en getuned met de nieuwe rig. We zijn erg tevreden met de vooruitgang die we ermee boeken en dat gevoel is tijdens de Delta Lloyd Regatta bevestigd.

    Training 18ft Skiff Grevelingen - Just a quick report about our training with the 18ft Skiff this weekend at the Grevelingen. Due to the north-easterly wind we went to the Grevelingen in stead of Stellendam. We did also find a great spot to take off and land without running aground. The conditions this weekend where light, with at most 8 knots of breeze we set the nr. 1 mast.

    Limburg Skiff Regatta Ophoven | Belgie  Last weekend we went to Limburg to compete in the Limburg Skiff Regatta. Main target was to test the new rigs in racing conditions. After having spent much time getting the set-up as right as we could we went onto the water to race.

    Masts sometimes break Bruinisse | Holland - After some maintenance last week at with our deckhardware partner OnDeck we had some difficulties during training. With a 15-18 knots wind it normally shouldn't  be too hard to sail the 49ers.
