After some standard boat manouvres we found two upwind/downwind marks which we've used for training a short lap. The length was about 0,5 nm and that was good for the handling. After we did some really nice fuck-ups, the manouvres were getting better. At the end of the day we did everything just like an other day at the office.
At 19.00 hr, after we cleaned the skiff and had some junkfood, we went back to Eindhoven / Roermond. Unless the lack of wind we had a very good day at the Grevelingen, which is still one of the best locations for sailing.
Touchdown competition
We started a competition which crewmember falls the most between the rack and the boat. At this moment the standing in the Pandion Touchdown competition is:
Leading with 3 full hits: Bob Kool
Closely followed by Stijn with 1 full hit and 1 nice recovery
Daan has only 1 point with 1 touchdown.
The winner is the crewmember with the most points at the end of the season, he or she (!?) wins the great oppertunity to shape the boards and deliver the boat to Garda!
Next weekend we're out on the water again, we'll try to update the website more from now on. In the meantime Jason Hoogedoorn is sailing in the 29er in Keel and Sam Frank is doing his exams @ KLM.
